Nearest airport is Newcastle International - 38 miles (approx 50 mins. drive).

Nearest train station is Alnmouth, on the East Coast main line - 18 miles (approx 30 mins. drive).

Nearest bus stop is in Thropton (regular buses from Newcastle, via Morpeth) - 4 miles (5 mins. drive).

Minibuses (16 seater to full coach) can be hired from www.jwgcoaches.co.uk (email: info@jwgcoaches.co.uk, telephone 07837 208825) who are based just 10 minutes away in Thropton. They can run groups to the pub and back in Thropton, Rothbury or Newcastle at very reasonable rates.

We have found Easycar to be the most consistently best value car hire option and it has deposts at Newcastle Airport and Newcastle Central Station.
