Alnwick Castle Golf Club Mature parkland course on periphery of Alnwick town. Bamburgh Castle Golf Course North Northumberland coastal course, with many challenging holes - all with superb views of Lindisfarne, the Farne Islands and Cheviot Hills. Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Course The James Braid classic - a must for any keen golfer on a visit to Northumberland. Rolling links and beautiful coastal views. Goswick Golf Course Another James Braid links masterpiece. Very challenging and very well kept, now a British Open regional qualifying course. Linden Hall Golf Course Only just over a decade old, but takes advantage of a mature parland setting with huge redwood trees, monkey puzzles, rhododendrons and lakes. Rothbury Golf Course Only 10 minutes drive from Burnfoot and very recently extended to 18 holes, with a brand new clubhouse. The course is in the beautiful Coquet valley, has a very active membership and offers special discounts to guests staying at Burnfoot. Seahouses Golf Course Traditional flat links course with great views of the coastline from Bamburgh to Beadnell and out to the Farne islands. Twelve links holes and six parland holes. |
